Palermo is the regional capital of Sicily. This busy port city is situated on the north-western coast of the island south of Italy. A local tradition in Palermo are plays acted by marionettes. You can visit the Museo delle Marionette (Puppet Museum) to lsee a performance and learn more about the history of this art. At the Museo Archeologico Regionale one can admire founds from many famous archaeological sites in Sicily.
